The Reds didn’t end the season empty-handed winning the Carling Cup in a thrilling final against Aston Villa as Sir Alex landed his 34th major trophy as United boss. And there were individual honours with Premier League Player of the Year Wayne Rooney weighing in with 34 goals in a stunning season.
